State troopers are investigating a Saturday morning crash that left one person dead. According to investigators, the crash happened just after 9 a.m. on Highway 179, about one mile south of Boaz. Two vehicles were involved in the crash. One person was killed and another suffered injuries. Next of kin has been notified, however troopers have not released the victim’s name at this time.
